NAPKIN: Achsah (Parmelee) Lee 1784-1866

This napkin was made by Achsah (Parmelee) Lee [Eber, John, John, John, John] of Guilford, Conn., before her marriage. Tom Gross, a descendant, has framed it and hung it in his home. The handwritten note, at right, reads:

"Aunt Achsah Lee Guilford, Conn.
She was married in 1812 &
this napkin was made by her
before her marriage."

Records show that Achsah and Charles Lee, son of William and Eunice (Hotchkiss) Lee, were marriage at Guilford's 1st Congregational Church on July 8, 1811.
