These are the earliest passes for The Parmelee Co.,
an omnibus line that ferried passengers and their
belongings from one train terminal to another in
Chicago for many years. The company's founder was
Franklin Parmelee [Edward, Ebenezer, Oliver,
Jonathan, Joshua, John, John]. The company
recently celebrated its centennial as Continental Airport
Express. |
