Aladdin was born and raised in Wayne County, Ky., and served in the Union Army in the Civil War. He was married to Eliza Norfleet on April 5, 1866, at Monticello, Ky., and, as far as I know, had no children.

He later moved to Paris, Texas, Elk Falls, Kans., and Cherokee City, Ark.
