JULIA ANN (CABLE) PARMLEY 1853-1955

Julia was born May 16, 1853, to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cable, who made their home near Bollegner Creek in Camden County, Mo. She married James Parmley in 1871 and raised a family there. He served in the Civil War and later became sheriff.

The family moved to Yale, Payne County, Okla., with son Henry and his family in 1919. After James died in 1926, Julia moved to Ontario, San Bernardino County, Calif., where she lived with her granddaughters and other relatives.

She died there on April 10, 1955 -- at the age of 101 years, 10 months and 25 days -- and was buried at Ontario's Bellevue Cemetery.
