All I know about this man is from this official Air Force photo: He is flanked by Maj. Gen. Nathan F. Twining on the left and Brig. Gen. Dean C. Strothers on the right.

P.O. is called an air commander who "continued the air onslaught against hte Northern Solomons after the capture of Vella Lavella."

In 1954, he was building a new $25,000 home on Knapp Drive in Montecito, Calif.
