EBENEZER PARMELEE 1738-1802
Ebenezer, Isaac, John, John
A member of the Yale Class of 1758, Ebenezer was a clock maker like his father, Ebenezer Sr. This sketch was made when we attended school there. He served as Guilford's town clerk from 1771-76 and his signature appears on many village documents. From 1771-80 he also served as clerk of the Guilford Probate District. His home, the Hyland House, still stands in Guilford.

In 2016 I ran across another sketch of Ebenezer, right, at the Perry Historical Society of Lake County, Ohio. It looks like a contemporary copy of the Yale original.
